SkillSprout Kids Activity Club FAQs

You can easily pay in the main page on this site. We also allow parents to pay in person when bringing their child by card or cash.

 SkillSprout combines science, sports, and arts & crafts all within one session - giving children the freedom to explore what they enjoy most. Our sessions are designed to build confidence, creativity, and teamwork, not just keep kids busy. Every child learns through fun, hands-on experiences in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment that helps them grow beyond the classroom. 

Our session time is currently every Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM but we are working to provide more days soon.

 SkillSprout sessions are designed for children aged 5 to 11 years old. However, we understand that every child is different - if your child falls slightly outside this range, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. 

Yes, we are open in term time and on holidays.

While we understand that schedules can be busy and don’t mind if your child arrives a little late or needs to leave early, we do recommend that they attend the full session whenever possible. This ensures they get the complete experience and full value from all the activities planned for that day. 

 We recommend that children wear comfortable clothes and trainers suitable for sports and creative activities. As sessions include both active play and arts & crafts, clothes that can get a little messy are ideal.
They should also bring a water bottle and any necessary personal items (like an inhaler, if needed). All materials for activities will be provided by SkillSprout. 

 Yes - we aim to make SkillSprout as inclusive and accessible as possible. If your child has any additional needs, please let us know in advance so we can discuss how best to support them. Our team will always do their best to adapt activities and create a comfortable, positive environment for every child. 

 That’s absolutely fine - most children start without knowing anyone, and our team is great at helping them settle in quickly. Our sessions are designed around team games, group activities, and collaborative projects, which naturally help children make friends and feel included from the start. By the end of the session, they’ll usually have a few new mates and a big smile on their face. 

 Yes - all SkillSprout staff are experienced in working with children and are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment. Our team members hold relevant safeguarding and first aid training, and every instructor is DBS-checked to ensure the highest standards of care and professionalism. 

If a child feels unwell or becomes upset during a session, our staff will provide immediate care and reassurance. We’ll contact the parent or guardian if needed and make sure the child is safe and comfortable. Our team is trained to handle these situations calmly and sensitively, ensuring every child feels supported and cared for throughout the session. 

Each 2-hour SkillSprout session costs £15.
We also offer a 4-session bundle for £50, and a Sibling Session for £24 (for two children from the same family attending together).
